Bollywood Director Karan Johar is launching Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia Bhatt and David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan in his next.


Now, Karan Johar has proved the speculations right by releasing the first look of the film which is titled Student Of The Year, and guess who else is producing the film, his good friend Shahrukh Khan.


Yes, the promotion of Student Of The Year has started online. Karan Johar, using his Twitter handle, posted the first look of the film which has three posters featuring the young actors Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.

Keeping the promise to promote youngsters, Karan Johar has come up with this youthful film which can remind many of his first film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which also had a college set-up. Varun and Siddharth already have an experience in film-making as they have assisted various directors.

Karan' ll take Imran-Avantika Wedding Stress

Karan Johar has come to the rescue of the soon to be married couple, Imran and Avantika Malik. Less than a week left and Imran Khan is still shooting for his upcoming film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. On the other hand, the entire stress of the wedding has been dumped on Avantika Malik’s shoulders.

Karan Johar has finally arrived at the scene and has taken the responsibility of designing the wedding dresses of both Imran and Avantika Malik. We hear that designer Manish Malhotra and Varun Bahl, have been given all the specifications instruction about their wedding dresses.

Avantika Malik will don an ashen-orange colour lehenga while Imran will be given a traditional dress for the Mehendi ceremony on January 8 and a western suit for the wedding on January 10. Not just Imran and Avantika, Karan has also designed dresses for Aamir Khan and his son Junaid.

Imran Khan is grateful and deeply touched by all the effort that Karan Johar is making for their wedding.

Agneepath’s Mary Turn in Kaali in Remake

As Previously Announce and we all know that Karan Johar is remaking his dad’s first production - Agneepath. The Agneepath, though was not a commercial success, won Amitabh Bachchan his first Film-fare award for his portrayal of the character Vijay Dinanath Chavan.

Well, Hrithik Roshan has been finalized to step into Vijay Chavan’s shoes while Priyanka Chopra will play the female lead. The female lead in the original was done by Madhavi who plays the role of nurse Mary.

In the remake, the name of Priyanka’s character changes to Kaali and the profession changes to prostitution. This is the first time in her career that Priyanka will be portraying an on-screen prostitute.

Ranbir-Imran Khan lip-lock on TV Show Koffee with Karan

Bollywood Actor Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were supposed to be enemies according to the media. But they put an end to this rumor by pretending to lip lock on TV Show Koffee with karan.

It is heard that during the TV show, Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan just couldn’t keep their hands off each other. They jumped on the couch, and cheated a kiss, hinting Karan to cast them in his Dostana sequel

In fact, the scene was so funny that Karan Johar insisted them to repeat the gay kiss after a commercial break. And Without hesitation, they embraced each other and broke into another kiss.

Stepmom Remake “We are Family” - Karan Johar

Official Title of Karan Johar’s remake Hollywood Movie Stepmom has been announced - The Hindi version will be called “We Are Family”.


“Ok guys…here goes the title of our official stepmom adaptation is “WE ARE FAMILY”…will post the release date in a few days!” Karan Johar tweeted.


Directed by Karan Johar, the movie will star Kareena Kapoor, Kajol and Arjun Rampal in the lead. The movie is expected to release in October this year.


‘Stepmom’ is a Hollywood tear-jerker starring Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon, and directed by Chris Columbus in 1998.
