Kareena Kapoor wearing golmaal t-shirts

Kareena Kapoor wearing golmaal t-shirtsKareena Kapoor wearing golmaal t-shirts: No designer gowns and dresses for Kareena Kapoor. The actress has been wearing her Golmaal 3 T-shirts with interesting dialogues from the film written on them for all the promotional events of the film.

Last week she was seen on Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Star Plus's Chote Ustad wearing the tees from G3. In Golmaal 3 she plays a character called Dabboo, who according to Bebo is, "a bit of a tomboy and chavanni chhaap.

When we sat down to discuss the look of the character we felt that she should wear interesting tees. The idea to have the dialogues on the tees was Manish's (Malhotra).

The T-shirts with messages were created specially for her character, "Dabboo is a total film buff and watches all Hindi films. She spouts Hindi film dialogues at the drop of a hat.

So we had tees which had famous Hindi film dialogues like Kitne aadme the Kaalia, Main apni favorite hoon, Mind it rascal, Chal Dhanno, Jahanpanah tussi great ho! written on them.

Rohit and Manish were very clear that though Dabboo was a tomboy, the character should dress masculine. The tees are subtly feminine."

Bebo adds, "Many people have already approached my marketing agency and G3 producers Ashtavinayak for tie up to merchandise the tees at various outlets for purchase. We will be working out a strategy for the marketing and sale of the T-shirts after the release."

Ajay Devgn breaks container on Rohit Shetty's head

Ajay Devgn breaks container on Rohit Shetty's head: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has pulled off many stunts in his career, but this was unique. He went ahead and broke a glass bottle on his director friend Rohit Shetty's head on the sets of Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar. The duo, along with Kareena Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, made a special appearance on the show for the music release of their upcoming film Golmaal 3. Ajay did the stunt in good fun, after music director duo Sajid-Wajid coaxed the usually reticent actor to sing a song for the audience. The actor gave in to their request and sang Mere naina sawan bhadon.Ajay Devgn breaks container on Rohit Shetty's head

After fulfilling their demand, Ajay asked the composers to do a stunt that he chose to demonstrate - he broke a bottle on Shetty's head and the latter started bleeding. When Ajay asked Sajid-Wajid to be ready for the same, they chickened out, said a source from the sets. But guess who was sporting enough? It was the show's new host, actor Manish Paul, who ended up getting the bottle cracked on his derriere. The episode will be telecast on Sunday.

Neetu Singh attended the premiere of Do Dooni

Neetu Singh said that she did not plan a comeback, but the storyline made her take the plunge. “I am really looking forward to it, because I think it is a very sweet film and it was so sweet that it made me work in it. Otherwise, I was not planning for a come back in movies, neither had I made my mind for it. I was very happy with my family life. But the story was so sweet and so simple, that I just wanted to do it,” she said.

Do Dooni Chaar is about a middle class teacher Duggal (Rishi Kapoor), who lives in a flat in the national capital and juggles with double-digit inflation and single digit increments in his salary.

Rishi Kapoor fended off questions, saying the day belonged to his wife. “See, today is her night, it's her evening so let's say hello to her. We've been doing it for so many years and Ranbir (son) is doing it now. So, let her speak, it's her right, so let it be her evening,” said Rishi Kapoor.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor said that he hoped his parents’ film would do well at the box office. “Well it's lovely, I feel so good that mom is coming back after 30 years. Both are acting together. We all know that they are brilliant actors and I am not nervous about this film. I've seen it and really liked it. I am super-confident that even people would appreciate it,” said Ranbir Kapoor.

Produced by Planman Motion Pictures for 70 million rupees and distributed by Walt Disney India, Do Dooni Chaar is the directorial debut of Habib Faisal. The star cast includes Archit Krishna and Aditi Vasudev in pivotal roles.

Shahrukh Khan and Khichdi Movie team togather

Shahrukh Khan and Khichdi Movie team togather: Last Friday was the happiest day in the lives of the entire cast and crew of movie Khichdi, why? Well because of two reasons, first their movie Khichdi released on box office to try its luck and second is that they got to meet none other than the king of bollywood Shahrukh Khan.In the past also ‘Khichdi - The Movie’ team unveiled their movie’s poster in front of Shahrukh’s house Mannat, cast of Khichdi, Supriya Pathak, Anang Desai, Rajeev Mehta hold Shahrukh in high regards because of the reason that Shahrukh Khan is probably the only star who made it so big after moving from television. In a small conversation with FilmiTadka at the sideline of the meet, the cast added – “Shahrukh has taught us modesty, we thank srk for taking out time from his otherwise busy schedule”.

Shahrukh Khan and Khichdi Movie team togather

At the event Shahrukh was his usual self inspiring everyone around him, he also appealed to audience to watch the movie, this is what is said – “Please go out and watch this film if you feel like laughing with your family, I can assure you it will be a fun filled evening”. “Khichdi - The Movie” is sort of a sequel to the hit television serial Khichdi, though the humour in the serial was predominantly carried by PJs still it used to be a hit and an hilarious extravaganza, all we can say is that take Shahrukh’s word and go watch the movie, otherwise read FilmiTadka’s verdict and then make your mind.

Indira Gandhi attended Oxford University in the late 1930s. She met her future husband Feroze Gandhi in England and the two married in 1942, a year after Indira had returned to India and joined the Indian Independence Movement. In 1966 she became the Prime Minister of India and besides taking the lead in economic and agricultural reforms, she led India through difficult times as the war with Pakistan raged the country in 1971 and Bangladesh gained its independence. Bollywood numbers game is too fickle - Priyanka Chopra

Bollywood numbers game is too fickle: Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra was marching towards the top with back-to-back hits 'Dostana' and 'Fashion' in 2008.
Last year her 'Kaminey' succeeded and if 'What's Your Raashee?' had worked, she would have certainly come closer to being number one.
But the actress refuses to get drawn into the numbers game. When a couple of my films would succee.
At the box office, then people would start commenting 'Oh yes, you are at the number one spot'.
But one flop later they may end up stating 'arrey, yeh spot toh thoda hil gaya'," Priyanka told us.
"In fact, sometimes you experience something even worse because.
The same people may even end up stating that she is gone and there is no future for her...
However, one hit later, every statement would be retracted. No one can be really blamed because.
This entire numbers business is so fickle," said the actress who has seen quite a few ups and downs in her career.
Was this why she didn't worry much while signing a relatively smaller film like 'Pyaar Impossible'?
Though she claims it was the film's script that made her sign, she admits that big banners like Yash Raj Films have their relevance. "Yes, one can't deny the relevance of big banners.
However, a fact that also cannot be denied is that sometimes even big films don't work. I have first-hand experience in that because there have been some really big films that I wasn't convinced about and hence had to decline them," Priyanka said. Unwilling to divulge the names of these films, she does reveal though that most of these films didn't work at the box office.

3 idiots Movie Review - 3rd Review

3 idiots Movie ReviewFarhan (Madhavan) and Raju (Sharman), 10 years after they have finished their engineering from India’s most prestigious engineering college find a clue to finally find their lost friend from college. Rannchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad aka Rancho (Aamir) their ex-room mate in the college hostel had silently disappeared on the graduation day leaving behind no clue of where he had left for. Rancho was the life of the college and with his unique wit had back then even managed to rattle the strict head of the college, Viru Sahastrabuddhe (Boman) but at the same time managed to win the heart of his daughter Pia (Kareena). Before leaving, Rancho had brought a major change in almost every person’s life he had come closer to. Starting their journey from Delhi and going to Shimla, Manali and finally ending up in Ladakh, what surprise is in store for Farhan and Raju when they finally manage to meet Rancho forms the climax of the film. After two back to back landmark films of Hindi cinema Munnabhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munnabhai, expectations from Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 idiots had been very high. Added to that, was the combination of producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Hirani and Aamir Khan coming together for the first time. So if you wondering whether the film manages to live up to the expectations then yes it does. Aal is well in here! Along with his co-scriptwriter Abhijat Joshi, Hirani packs in many subtle messages through his narrative and successfully drives home the point that when it comes to planning for one’s future, one must follow his heart and do what our hearts tell us rather than what our parents expect us to do. There are plenty of sequences that stay in your heart long after the film is over. Be it the unexpected suicide of a pressurized student, Aamir’s entry scene, the dinner situation at Sharman’s house, Sharman’s job interview, Madhavan convincing his parents to allow him to chose his choice of work and of course the laughathon caused by interchanging of words Chamatkar to Balaatkar by Aamir of an unsuspecting student. However, the child delivery sequence in the pre climax has been unnecessarily over stretched. The film is a must watch for every Aamir fan. Just check the way he successfully carries out the role of a 22 year old despite being 44 years older.

The story focuses on racial profiling of Muslims in the U.S. Khan plays a man with Asperger syndrome a form of autism who’s wrongly suspected of being a terrorist. Kajol plays his wife. The film was shot in Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Mumbai.

It was directed by famous filmmaker Karan Johar and produced by his company, Dharma Productions. In the past, Khan and Johar have collaborated on some of India’s most internationally successful films, including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006).My Name Is Khan was reportedly sold to Fox Star Studios last July for a record Rs. 100 crore ($21 million) the highest price ever paid by a distributor for a Bollywood film. The incident made headlines worldwide and outraged many Indians.

Movie Review Fox

FoxIt isn't too tough to crack 'Fox'. You end up realising the identity of the culprit in this suspense thriller 15 minutes after the interval. If only the whodunit factor could have been held on for a little longer, "Fox" would have turned out to be as exciting as it seemed in the first half. No, Tijori doesn't bring the culprit on screen in the middle of the film but leaves a couple of clues, unintentionally though, in the first hour itself.A person aiming a shot at Arjun in the dead of the night and a few minutes later an old man suddenly meeting him in Goa - both these incidents, if studied carefully, throw enough pointers for audiences to ponder over the film's plot. At the same time, Arjun, a top lawyer, publishes a novel titled "Fix The Fox", which goes on to become a best-seller. The novel includes graphic details of five gruesome murders in the past and this detailing leads Arjun to Sunny Deol, a senior cop at the Crime Branch. It's this build-up till the interval that keeps the thrilling quotient intact for "Fox". But the turn of events does keep you watching - whether it is the lawyer who only fights for criminals, a sense of guilt leading to a break-up with his rapist-cum-murderer friend Vipul Gupta, a momentary break from his legal partner and girlfriend Sagarika Ghatge, a fortunate encounter with publishing house owner Udita Goswami or his debut novel "Fix The Fox" gaining world wide popularity. What mars the narrative though is that the production values are below average for a project that has stars like Sunny and Arjun. The frames don't boast of a rich look to them, the set design is tacky, songs are poor and Goan villas appears to be cardboard sets in Mumbai. Tijori has made quite a few thrillers on television before and watching "Fox" gives an impression that the script may well have been originally designed as a TV thriller. A film like "Fox" doesn't quite warrant histrionics and Arjun Rampal does well in keeping his act subtle. It's a nice change to see Sunny Deol not really talking through his fists though one expected him to be a little more energetic. Sagarika gets good footage for herself after her "Chak De! India" role. Udita is required to look good in her first few scenes and she does well there. Beyond that she hardly has a role to play in "Fox".Even though you start solving the jigsaw puzzle before the characters are able to do so in "Fox", you don't really mind the storytelling. The only trouble is that there isn't any needle of suspicion that points towards various characters. That's because there isn't any needle at all here due to a clear black and white picture emerging quite soon. From a suspense thriller, the film ends up being mainly a thriller.

Bollywood Slang has scandalized before!

KamineyBollywood filmmakers have always been at their creative best to zero on the titles of their films. Creativity to our Indian filmmakers means imagination with no bounds. Wonder, why a title like Kaminey raised certain eyebrows, when our oldies (filmmakers) got away with the best cheesiest and slangiest titles ever! Let’s peep into the past and pick up those tacky titles out of the lot, titles that are often used in real-life to tease people. Well we are sure these films were never pulled up for so much of grilling before the release!
Awaara: Raj Kapoor’s genre of cinema-oozed oodles of love sparks all over. Awaara undisputedly was one of his masterpieces with a perfect blend of romance. Awaara doesn’t come across a nice word in the Indian culture. If one goes by the literal meaning it means an aimless jerk. However, surprisingly, Awaara didn’t receive brickbats for its title.
Junglee: Another talented Kapoor played a phenomenal character of a Junglee who is head-over-heels in love with the ever-beautiful Saira Banu. The word Junglee too brings a negative trait of a character in literal terms. Junglee means ill mannered or wild. Wonder, why weren’t fingers pointed-out then when the maker Subodh Mukherjee inked upon this title.
Namak Haram: Super-star Amitabh Bachchan was at the peak of his career. And, Namak Haram brought in another feather on the already over-loaded cap of Big B. The word was whole-heartedly accepted by one and all, which literally translated would mean- biting the hand that feeds, Interesting!
Batameez: Manmohan Desai’s Batameez showcased the female protagonist with a negative trait. Yes, actress Sadhana did full justice to the ill-mannered spoilt brat of Shanta’s character. Again, the film’s title did not go through any scrutiny because of the unconventional and controversial title, which means ill mannered.

Sequel to Jab We Met

jabwemet_3008_1024x768

Director Imtiaz Ali is toying with the idea to make a sequel to his romantic flick Jab We Met with the original co-stars Shahid and Kareena.
Imtiaz says, “It`s an idea, yes. What happens to the two characters Geet and Aditya after they`ve met and gone through all those adventures? What happens to them after the story ends in Jab We Met? I`m asked that question so often that even I`ve started wondering about the future of Geet`s relationship with Aditya after we left them.”
Talking about the story Imtiaz says, “I don`t see a very pleasant togetherness for Geet and Aditya. They`re two such strong-headed individuals, there`s bound to be friction. Maybe Geet will go back to Anshuman (the guy who dumps her). There`s certainly an element of curiosity for me about where these characters go.”
Imtiaz doesn’t find it a problem to bring together Shahid-Kareena together for the movie. What do you think about the idea of a sequel for Jab We Met folks?
