Is SRK copy Rajinikanth

A chase sequence shot atop a train in Ra.One has startling similarity to the sequence in Endhiran The Robot when Rajini runs laterally on a moving train to save his ladylove from goons. Since the fans have enjoyed the chase sequence in Robot a lot, there are going to be obvious comparisons, and probably accusations of plagiarism, when they see SRK doing the same in Ra.One.

Further, the allegations would get credibility given the fact that director Shankar had first approached SRK for Robot and had even discussed the film in detail.

To avoid such allegations, SRK has given clear instructions to the creative team to make the chase sequence on the train in Ra.One as different as can be from the one in Robot.

Will ‘Enthiran’ Movie a Hit or not?

‘Enthiran’ (Robot) is one of the most awaited flicks of the year 2010. The film stars South superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood Actress Aishwarya Rai the lead.
It is scheduled to release on October 1st, but the ticket bookings were opened in Chennai, and in an hour, all the tickets were sold out.

It is learnt that, in US also, Enthiran tickets are all sold out, before its release. Buzz is that, advanced bookings for the first 20 days have also been done in most of the theaters.

Enthiran movie is going to hit the theatres with 2,250 prints in various foreign countries like US, UK, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Censor board has given U certificate for the movie and did not cut a single scene from the final print.
Enthiran is said to be the most expensive movie in Indian film industry.

Aishwarya's Endhiran Release on Sept 3

The Movie Directed by Shankar, Endhiran is a sci-fi thriller starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Rajnikant. It is touted as the most expensive movie to be made in India so far, with its budget touching the whopping figure of Rs 165 crores. The film has been long in the making; production started in September 2008 in Machu Picchu in Peru.

Based on the work of the late writer Sujatha’s novels En Iniya Iyanthira and Jeeno, Endhirn will have Rajnikant playing a scientist, who creates a robot in his own likeness for his physically challenged child to play with. However, things go awry and the robot begins to kill people forcing the scientist to terminate his state-of-the-art invention.

“The film will have many surprises,” says helmer Shankar. “Technology has been used to the maximum possible extent. I am hopeful that Endhiran will surpass all expectations. Rajni is such a simple man who is totally unaware of his fame and power.”

Music for the film has been scored by Oscar winner A R Rahman has composed the music, Rathnavelu has lensed the sci-fi drama which has been choreographed by Raju Sundaram.

Once named the ninth most beautiful woman in the world, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is still a stunner as is evident from the stills in the movie.
